Friday Prayer

The prayer is finished when some one yelled:”Takbir” [a call for others to say death to this and that country, literally it means Allah is Great.]

Friday prayers (18 years ago)

“Death to the “Great Satan!”
“Death to USSR!”
“Death to England!”
“Death to Israel!”
“Death to Monafeghin(an opposition group in Iraq) and Saddam!”

Friday prayers (10 years ago)

“Death to the “Great Satan!”
“Death to England!”
“Death to Israel!”
“Death to Monafeghin(an opposition group in Iraq) and Saddam!”

Friday prayers (Lat week)

“Death to the “Great Satan!”
“Death to Israel!”

Friday prayers (2 or more years later)

Those who attend this “Namaz e doshmanshekan” (a prayer which make the enemies give up) come; say their prayers and go home and you don’t hear anything but the rhythm of their steps on the ground; you can also see the sign:
“EXIT!”

Haha, Thanks for this hilarious post. My cousin and I couldn't stop laughing. By the way, there appears to be an inverse relationship between shrinking "marg bar" lists, and increasing in Iran's diplomatic relations. So, as all countries move closer and closer to world peace, more and more countries graduate from Iran's death list. Woo-hoo!

I found your weblog by chance in jerusalempost.com .and since that day I have read your weblog and enjoyed very much.
I really think it is a good weblog and also you are one of the best blogers in Iran since you openly express your feelings about our real politics, economics, our cultural and social problems.whenever I read your expriences of teaching in the classroom or your sweet and funny statements about our governers I get impressed.your point of view of all those matters and your transparent words are great. I would like to thank you and say " damet garm" for all your effort to establish this site.... my words come right from your mouth , you say intrepidly about our damn politics and I like it ....
